Hank White is a founding principal of New York-based HMWhite. Led by the conviction that the designed landscape is a vital cultural expression and source of environmental accountability, White’s landscape and urban design practice aspires to create places of unexpected and deep connections with the natural world. Founded in 1993, HMWhite does work that represents an evidence-based design approach respecting natural ecologies as dynamic models which consistently inform its designs.
