July-August 1967: Thurston H. Ross delivered a speech on high-rise schools, the abandonment of the front and back yard concept for suburban homes, and a return to the town meeting type of government in the future. Ross was the director of the Bureau of Business Research at the University of California from 1930-1960 and also editor of Southern California Business Review.
