The ULI Net Zero Imperative (NZI) is ULI’s multiyear initiative to accelerate decarbonization in the built environment and advance the organization’snet zero mission priority. Implemented by the ULI Lewis Center for Sustainability in Real Estate, key programs include Technical Assistance Panels (TAPs), which are intense three-day engagements during which a panel of ULI member experts and partners help clients or sponsors, often local governments, think through strategies for advancing their net zero goals.
Given the pressing challenges real estate is facing globally on advancing building decarbonization, ULI is honored to announce that 10 District and National Councils have been selected to participate in the fourth Net Zero Imperative (NZI) Cohort. NZI is a multiyear initiative to accelerate decarbonization in the built environment and is a significant aspect of ULI’s work to advance its net zero mission priority.
ULI is honored to announce two District Councils and three National Councils have been selected to participate in the third Net Zero Imperative Cohort.
To date, the Net Zero Imperative has funded over a dozen technical assistance panels, ranging in topics from multifamily electrification to net zero new construction incentives, from ClimateTech innovations to tenant engagement for whole-building decarbonization. Localities are eager to move forward and accelerate the built environment’s journey to zero.
