Juan Pablo Quintero

Juan Pablo Quintero is a manager for ULI Greenprint based in San Francisco. He has long been influenced by cultural diversity and global awareness as he approaches every challenge with a unique perspective. Having worked with residential real estate in South Florida and obtaining his Masters in Sustainable Business from the University of Miami Herbert Business School, he saw the need for increased sustainability efforts in the built environment. Leveraging his background in business management consulting and administration, he is working to continue improving the ULI Greenprint Community through automation, collaboration, and an emphasis on our members.

Real estate investors recognize the need to incorporate physical climate risks—including wildfire, hurricanes, and excessive heat—into their business models as the prevalence and severity of extreme weather events increase. Climate-risk analytics tools have proliferated in recent years to help investors assess, price, and mitigate these physical climate risks. Investors have welcomed these tools but face challenges selecting the right provider—or providers—to meet their business needs.
Real estate leaders in the ULI Greenprint community have created a sustainability pre-bid checklist for the industry to inform and adjust bid pricing in transactions.
