ULI Access App Brings the Latest to Your Handheld Device

With the launch of the ULI Access app, both members and nonmembers can subscribe to updates from a single source, including your local District Council or National Council.

With the launch of the ULI Access app, now available for download from iTunes or Google Play, members and nonmembers can subscribe to updates from a single source, including their local District Council or National Council. They can also choose updates from multiple sources across the ULI spectrum, including Urban Land magazine, ULI Centers and Initiatives, and the ULI Foundation.

The app loads just the essentials—the headline, a photo, and a short excerpt from the latest news items. At that point, users are one tap away from reading the full article or sharing it with friends via e-mail, LinkedIn, Facebook, or Twitter.

If a user prefers to connect with ULI through photos and videos, Flickr photo sets, along with videos via YouTube and Vimeo, are available for each ULI locality that uses these channels.

To get the latest updates, users can subscribe to “push notifications,” which will display an alert on the tablet or mobile device whenever a selected ULI source publishes a new article, puts a new event on its calendar, or reaches the last day to register for an event.

The content for the new app comes directly from ULI’s individual websites; those feeds have been merged into one app that lets users see and share the latest from across the organization.

Members can access and install the app by searching for “ULI Access” in the Apple Store or Google Play. We welcome your feedback via e-mail at [email protected].

Visit uli.org/mobile for more information on ULI’s mobile apps, and to find links to the Apple Store and Google Play.
