Greg Clark, senior fellow, ULI Europe, and Global Advisor on City Development, will be attending the MIPIM’s Build Connections conference, March 8 - 11, 2011, in Cannes, France, and has been designated to be one of four “official blogger” of the event. Clark will blog everyday for three weeks beginning March 8, 2011.

Clark will blog daily from MIPIM, beginning March 8, 2011.

MIPIM brings together the influential real estate professionals to explore major international property development projects, connect with potential partners, and strike deals over 4 intensive days.

Greg Clark is Senior Fellow, ULI, Europe. He combines this role with being a global advisor on urban development through roles that include: Chairman of the OECD Development Agencies and Investment Strategies Forum, Senior Fellow, Brookings Institution, Metropolitan Programme, Advisor to the World Bank on Urbanisation Knowledge Platform, Chairman of British BIDs (Business Improvement Districts), Member of the Advisory Board of the Oxford Future of Cities Programme, and Visiting Professor, City Leadership, Cass Business School, City of London. He has led and moderated more than 100 conferences and strategic events for ULI, City Governments, EuroCities, OECD, World Bank, The Financial Times, The EIB, MIPIM, LSE, Brookings Institution, and the EU Council. Selected as a Harkness Fellow in 1995, he reviewed 12 North American cites/regions from a base as a fellow at Columbia University in New York City. As Chairman of the European Urban Development Forum from 1996 to 2000 he oversaw reviews of 24 European Cities/Regions. Since 1998 has undertaken OECD reviews in 27 cities around the world. He has directed comparative studies and assessments of London and New York, British & Spanish Cities, UK & Canadian Cities, and UK & Chinese Cities. He has been a strategy advisor to more than 20 cities in 5 continents and has led international city networks & projects on city leadership, openness and migration, urban investment, long term strategic planning, economic strategy, and city branding.
