In mid-December, Project REAP and ULI held a ceremony celebrating the 190 graduates who completed the ULI/REAP Online Academy in 2020. But this year’s graduating class is unique—not only by being the largest single cohort in the program’s 22-year history, but also by being conducted virtually from start to finish, which allowed for a broader geographic pool of participants.
As a charitable 501(c)3 organization that supports the Institute’s mission-driven programs—from district councils enacting change on a local level to UrbanPlan introducing the concepts of real estate and planning to the next generation of developers—the ULI Foundation is dedicated to supporting ULI’s mission of improving cities around the globe.
The ULI/REAP Virtual Fall Academy launched with more than 150 candidates enrolled in the live and on-demand programming running through graduation in mid-December. Participants were also invited to ULI’s Fall Meeting and provided with ULI memberships to jump-start their professional transition.
Through the new Yield Chicago program, seasoned and emerging development professionals are joining to share industry knowledge, networks, and best practices.
