Frank Duffy

Frank Duffy, an architect and founder of the international practice DEGW, has focused most of his career on programming and designing offices. The past president of the Royal Institute of British Architects and the Architects Council of Europe, he is the author of many books, the latest of which is Work and the City (Black Dog Publishing, 2008).

What is within our collective grasp may be nothing less than the fundamental revaluation and reinvention of what we mean by the city. It is only within the wider urban context of the life of cities that it becomes possible to address the future of what we may or may not continue to describe as the office.
