Christopher N Macke

Chris Macke is the managing director of research and investment strategy at American Realty Advisors. Previously he was a senior strategist at CBRE Research and Consulting. In this capacity he leveraged his nearly 20 years of commercial real estate development, acquisition, leasing and financing experience. Clients included the U.S. Federal Reserve and Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation. He was also the company’s commercial real estate media spokesperson. Mr. Macke began his full-time real estate career in 1992. Most recently he was a principal at General Equity Real Estate where he was a contributor to the Federal Reserve’s Beige Book in the area of commercial real estate and its financial markets. He was also a resource for the Treasury Department, House Financial Service Committee and Senate Finance Committee on commercial real estate matters. Prior to General Equity Real Estate Mr. Macke was a Vice President at GE Real Estate. In this capacity he sourced net lease acquisition opportunities and structured sale-lease-back transactions throughout the US. Mr. Macke received an MBA from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business and his undergraduate degree from the University of Southern California. He is a certified Six Sigma Black Belt. For the past 20 years Mr. Macke has supported Big Brothers Big Sisters. He has served as a board member on the Indianapolis, Seattle, Fort Wayne and Chicago Boards of Directors.
