Myron Curzan

Myron P. “Mike” Curzan founded and served as the chief executive officer of UniDev, which specializes in developing housing for moderate-income public and private employees. Educated at Columbia College, the Yale University Graduate School and Columbia Law School, he served as a legislative assistant for Senator Robert F. Kennedy.

Public and private capital can be combined–and leveraged–to provide more workforce housing.
Methods that the federal government used successfully in the 1970s and more recently in dealing with country’s banking crises could help equitably resolve today’s crisis of underwater mortgages and foreclosures.
Better federal government business practices—and new revenues from businesses, the public, and corporate profits stranded overseas—could help generate the funds necessary to bring U.S. infrastructure to a globally competitive level.
Donating underused land could be key to building workforce housing—and kicking off a construction rebound.
