The ULI Randall Lewis Center for Sustainability in Real Estate—ULI’s flagship global center for decarbonization, resilience, and health—is pleased to announce its three newest board members: Jackie Knight, Julie Manning, and Anupam Yog.
The Lewis Center accelerates action toward greater sustainability by cultivating leadership and knowledge, advancing adoption of best practices, solving land use and real estate challenges, and pursuing policy solutions. The Lewis Center envisions a net zero, resilient, healthy, and inclusive world where everyone thrives. It works closely with ULI members and partners to produce actionable guidance on pressing issues, host immersive learning experiences, execute community technical assistance, and organize leadership networks.
The Advisory Board provides strategic leadership and insights that inform the Lewis Center’s priorities and is chaired by A.J. Jackson of Leo Impact Capital. Members of the Lewis Center Advisory Board serve three-year terms.
Jackie Knight is a Twin Cities-based real estate developer, investment fund manager, and industry leader who has engaged with ULI at the local and national levels. As president of Ackerberg, she is responsible for company and portfolio operations—including short- and long-term strategy, vision, and values—underscoring Ackerberg’s commitment to advancing sustainability goals.
Knight served as the 2025 ULI Awards for Excellence Jury Chair. She’s also been involved in the national NEXT leadership, served on the Urban Revitalization Product Council, and held committee roles within ULI Minnesota. In addition, Knight has been active in the Lewis Center’s ULI Health Leaders Network, a leadership program that facilitates improved understanding of connections between real estate and health.
“Local and regional real estate developers are essential players to make communities healthier, more sustainable, and more equitable,” she said, “and this focus yields enhanced outcomes in the form of community and public sector support, reduced operating costs, and communities that are stronger over the long term. I’m excited to contribute to the Lewis Center’s urgent mission.”
Julie Manning is the global head of sustainability at LaSalle Investment Management, where she leads the mission to protect investment performance by decarbonizing and enhancing resiliency of LaSalle’s investment portfolios. Manning is a chartered accountant who joined LaSalle in 1997, and she was a charter member of the Lewis Center’s Greenprint Program, which helps companies achieve environmental goals and drive economic value by sharing and comparing data and insights. Manning and LaSalle have been key partners with ULI in many areas—including resilience—with research to help the real estate industry understand and act on climate risk data.
“Asset performance is driven in part by sustainability and resilience factors,” Manning said. “Transition risk and physical climate risk are essential considerations for global asset managers. I’m thrilled to build on LaSalle’s longstanding relationship with ULI and Lewis Center programs with a role on the Advisory Board.”
Anupam Yog is founder and managing partner of XDG Labs, a research organization based in Singapore, where he works with collaborators to advance healthy communities. Originally from India, Yog is passionate about placemaking for healthy habitats and using data to inform design for holistic community well-being.
Yog is active with ULI APAC and helped establish ULI’s presence in India by serving in leadership roles for product councils and awards juries in the region. He is an alumnus of the ULI Health Leaders Network program.
“I deeply believe that city design and the built environment shape health and well-being for communities and individuals,” Yog said. “The Lewis Center is at the forefront of thinking about how real estate and land use can make people’s lives better. I am looking forward to digging in.”
