Greg Dorolek

Greg Dorolek is a principal and lead designer at Wenk Associates. He brings 23 years of experience leading urban projects for the firm on projects of varying contexts and scales. Greg has led the planning, design, and construction for public and private clients on projects including campuses, parks, plazas, streetscapes, and natural restoration. Many of his projects incorporate green infrastructure strategies that treat and manage stormwater runoff to enhance ecological, human, and economic value. Greg speaks nationally on the value of green infrastructure and multi-functional stormwater systems in public spaces.

Extreme weather events such as droughts and floods significantly impact vulnerable communities across the country—especially in places where the population continues to grow, creating even more tension between real estate demand and the risk of catastrophic flooding or drought. The good news is that shaping real estate projects around water-wise and flood-resilient measures can greatly mitigate water-related risks—and greatly enhance asset value at the same time.
