Real Estate Studies Program

BU’s Center for Professional Education offers a wide range of practical commercial real estate courses designed to help you improve your skills and advance your career. We know you have many choices for classes in continuing education and we appreciate you considering taking courses with us. More than 10,000 real estate professionals have chosen the Boston University Real Estate Studies Program to advance their careers and here’s why:

  • Practical Program – The BU courses cover the entire life cycle of commercial real estate and teach you how to analyze, finance, transact, construct, and manage commercial real estate assets. Our educational mantra is simple; Provide practical education to improve performance and success. We show you how to get things done!
  • Industry Expert Faculty – Our instructors are working professionals. They help you develop the skills that they use every day by sharing real life case studies and examples of the projects they are working on. Classes are academically challenging and based on the best practices within the industry.
  • Networking with Fellow Professionals – Success in every industry is based on your relationships within that profession and remote work makes it more challenging than ever to create and nurture your network. Fostering connections with fellow students will pay dividends over your career, long after the classes are over.
  • Flexibility in Course Selection – You select the classes you want to take and when to take them (a few do have a pre-requisite). We do not prescribe the order of the courses or how many you must take. We suggest starting with a class you feel you can benefit from right away and hope you will want to take additional classes, but that is entirely your decision.
  • Cost/Value – BU classes are very cost effective at $795 (except Argus @$895).

Taking a class at Boston University might be one of the most important things you do to compete in the rapidly changing commercial real estate world. In addition to the insights from your instructors, you will be sharing experiences with other classmates facing similar issues. Signing up for a class will give you the time and space to step back and think about new strategies to meet the challenges ahead.

We cover a full range of topics in the Commercial Real Estate Life Cycle, which offer an extensive and well-rounded understanding of the field.
