UCLA Master of Real Estate Development

UCLA’s Master of Real Estate Development program combines the resources of America’s top-ranked public university with hands-on learning from industry leaders in one of the world’s most dynamic real-estate markets and learning labs. The program delivers an innovative and practical real estate curriculum that combines academic and experiential learning to prepare students to create positive and meaningful impact from the minute they graduate.

UCLA is the best place to study real estate. UCLA MRED is an 11-month STEM-designated interdisciplinary program housed in the Luskin School of Public Affair’s top-ranked Urban Development Department and will include courses in the Anderson School of Management, School of Law, and other UCLA departments.

The program equips students with analytic and practical skills to succeed in a wide range of real estate careers with a big-picture understanding of the industry’s power to drive positive change in communities across the world.

Students benefit from top-ranked academics in urban planning, real estate, business and law and have access to real estate expertise at UCLA through the Ziman Center for Real Estate, the Lewis Center for Policy Studies, and AUD’s cityLab, and can connect with a robust international network of UCLA alumni in real estate and related fields.

UCLA MRED is by the industry, for the industry, ensuring graduates have key skills sought by employers and gives students access to many of the most innovative, impactful industry players who will teach most of the classes. Students work with leading executives and practitioners on cutting-edge real estate solutions in class, on case studies and site visits, and through mentoring, internship and networking opportunities.
