Jason Scully is the coauthor of ULI’s Creating Walkable Places: Compact Mixed-Use Solutions and is currently a student in the University of Washington’s Interdisciplinary PhD Program in urban design and planning. Anne Vernez Moudon is a professor of architecture, landscape architecture, and urban design and planning in the College of Built Environments at the University of Washington. She is also an adjunct professor in the departments of epidemiology and civil engineering. She and a team from the University of Washington’s Urban Form Lab and the Seattle Obesity Study conducted the study of 329 grocery stores in the Seattle/King County metropolitan area.
